How to improve the interfacial bonding strength of composite spun fibers
2026-07-22Composite spun fibers (skin core, sea island, orange petal fragments, parallel) exhibit interface delamination, excessive fiber opening, sharp drop in strength, thermal processing delamination, and filter material shedding, with the core root cause being weak interfacial bonding between the two phases.

What are the precautions for polylactic acid fiber in spinning production process
2026-07-13Characteristics of PLA fiber: smooth surface, low friction coefficient, poor adhesion, poor heat resistance, easy creep under pressure and heat, degradation under high temperature and strong alkali, high fiber brittleness. Spinning focuses on temperature and humidity control, process parameters, equipment selection, production operation, and semi-finished product protection and control.

Why are polyester fibers commonly used in the home textile industry
2026-07-07Based on the usage scenarios of home textiles such as curtains, sofa covers, bedding, carpets, pillows, and filling cotton, polyester has irreplaceable comprehensive advantages compared to cotton, linen, silk, and wool

How to test the functionality of composite spun fibers
2026-06-30Composite fiber functionality is divided into seven mainstream categories: moisture absorption and conductivity, antibacterial, conductive and anti-static, flame retardant, biodegradable, low melting point adhesive, and UV resistant. Each category has standardized testing methods to distinguish between laboratory routine testing and third-party arbitration testing.

What is the production principle of polylactic acid fiber
2026-06-221、 Upstream: From starch to PLA polymer slices 1. Starch saccharification and fermentation to produce L-lactic acid Raw materials: Starch from crops such as corn, cassava, and straw; Hydrolysis: Starch is hydrolyzed into glucose by adding water and amylase; Microbial fermentation: Lactic acid bacteria ferment glucose to produce L-lactic acid monomers;

Why do disposable masks need to use polylactic acid fiber
2026-06-151、 Core: Addressing the significant white pollution caused by disposable masks (primary reason) Ordinary disposable masks have two layers inside and outside, and the filter element is made of polypropylene (PP) petroleum based plastic, which is difficult to decompose in natural environments for hundreds of years. Abandoned masks cause microplastic pollution in soil and water bodies.

What are the special features of polyester fiber compared to ordinary fiber
2026-06-09Polyester fiber, also known as polyester, belongs to synthetic fibers and has distinct characteristics compared to conventional fibers such as cotton (natural plant), viscose (regenerated cellulose), and wool (animal protein).
-
Where does the main raw material of polyester fiber come from
2026-06-01Polyester fiber (polyester) raw materials are divided into two categories: primary (petroleum based)+recycled (recycled PET), of which more than 90% still come from petrochemicals, and a small amount come from coal chemicals, natural gas, and recycled materials.

What are the common structures of composite spun fibers
2026-05-26Composite fiber is a fiber made by spinning two or more polymers with different chemical and physical properties into the same single filament through composite spinning technology. According to the cross-sectional shape, component distribution, and post-processing characteristics, it is divided into four main categories, with special derivative structures attached. Each category includes structur

What are the main forms of polylactic acid fibers
2026-05-18Polylactic acid fiber (PLA) is mainly divided into filament, short fiber, monofilament/multifilament, and non-woven fabric according to its appearance; According to the microstructure, it is a circular cross-section with smooth longitudinal grooves.
